Burned through a trailer tire on a locked-up wheel. Phoned them up and they had a tire available. Manager, tire guy, and mechanic were all straight-up and helpful. They checked it out quickly, and realized the locked-up trailer part was going to be beyond them in terms of parts. Sometimes the best service is knowing your limits - got the tire and went up the road to get the trailer fixed. Thanks.
I was a Latin Tourist heading West End. We got a flat tire so we needed some assitance, there weren't any nearby Tire Shops open, so we headed here. There was an old man, probably the owner. He wasn't helpful at all. He was mean and aggressive towards us just because I was latin. Shops that discriminate people just for their race doesn't deserve to be opened. This place is one of them. I just went there because I was in an emergency.
Went for oil change. After seeing the bill I thought the price was too low so I asked if he used synthetic oil as recommended by auto maker. he answered regular. Didn't think much about it and left for a long trip. about 2500 miles into trip my oil light came on. Never had this happen in the 94,000 miles I've driven...On opening the hood noticed printed right on the oil lid was OW-20 which is a synthetic oil. Also oil filter didn't look right. On our return I took the car to another station and was informed the wrong filter was put on and the threads were damaged by the force used to put it on. Also told that wrong oil could damage my engine.
I have purchased tires from this company and was pleased with their service but I will never use them for any auto servicing.
Straight up told me they didn't wanna work on my car because it's too hard. What happened to Shiloh tire? It used to be the best place in town now they are just lazy
