The food was so good that I'm going back after I finish posting this review. The bread was freshly made. Half the sandwich was already wrapped up to go which my wife and I both enjoyed again later that night. If you're staying nearby, stop hunting for a place to eat and come here.
The Overseas Highway can be a long narrow desert of "business hours 10am to 2pm", so it was nice to have quesadillas and beer at Chad's on our afternoon drive down to Key West. They will even box your leftovers for you with extra guacamole. Very nice staff!

Ate here for the first time while on vacation w/ my fiance! My meatball sandwich was delish! Fiance thoroughly enjoyed his Italian sandwich. He loved that half his sandwich was pre-wrapped. And 1 of the wait staff gave him a to-go bag without him even asking for one. The rest of the staff was friendly and attentive! Definitely coming back here so I can try other items from their menu. Lots to choose from!!
Chad's is a family owned restaurant. With a casual atmosphere. They have an Italian ambiance and their food is fresh and delicious. It is an icon here in the Florida Upper Keys mm92 (Tavernier) 33070.It is only 30 minutes from Florida City, so it's an easy pleasant drive, without having to go all the way to Islamorada it Key West. One of my favorite dishes us their No-Carb dishes, that they will make to order with reasonable prices and large portions. They have a large area Bakery separate from restaurant that is completely dedicated to home delicious home-maid delicacies, large M&M cookies, cakes, brownies and key lime pie to die for. Great on the dash treats to bring with you to snack on, perfect for your on the go kind of day or night. It is not on the water, but it is directly off US1, making it an easy in, easy out place to make your eating part of your day quick, leaving the rest of your day, having fun. I highly recommend it. I am a local here 12 years and I never get tired if eating their easy menu foods... I suggest you make it part if plans when visiting us here in the famous, "Florida Keys".... I promise, you will not be disappointed....
